Our Treatment Team

CenterPointe programs are led by this well-established, multi-disciplinary treatment team:

Treatment Team

Our team, consisting of a board certified psychiatrist, a licensed psychologist, a family nurse practitioner, master's level therapists and bachelor's level professionals, works cooperatively to provide comprehensive, individualized treatment to each child and their family. We serve clients throughout Canyon County and its surrounding areas.

Christine Kildow, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist

Clinic Director

Dr. Kildow received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Boise State University, a Master’s in Human Development from the University of Kansas, and her doctorate in Developmental and Child Psychology from the University of Kansas. She completed a clinical internship in Pediatric Psychology at the University of Kansas Medical Center, and a clinical traineeship in Developmental and Other Chronic Handicapping Disorders at the University of Kansas Medical Center Child Development Unit. Further, Dr. Kildow worked extensively in an ADHD clinic with other healthcare providers while receiving her clinical training at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

 

Amie Priest, B.S.

Director of Operations

Amie joined CenterPointe in 2003. She started as a PSR worker and then after six years of providing PSR services, she became part of the Quality Assurance team and in 2011 became the Quality Assurance Manager. While Amie was a PSR worker, she facilitated CenterPointe's drug and alcohol educational groups in local middle and high schools. As Quality Assurance Manager, Amie is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and assists in developing quality assurance programs to ensure compliance in programs CenterPointe offiers. Amie earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Boise State University.

Jamie Williams, LCSW

DDA Program Director/Clinician

Jamie joined CenterPointe in 2013 as a clinician. Jamie attended Utah State University and Boise State University earning a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Social Work. She earned her clinical social work license in 2015. Jamie has been doing individual and family counseling since 2013 with children, teens, and adults. Jamie treats individuals with emotional and behavioral issues including, depression, anxiety, autism, ADHD, PTSD, and a variety of other psychological, family, and social problems. Jamie uses primarily Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Behavioral Therapy, but does pull from a variety of other approaches. Jamie specializes in individuals and families struggling with anxiety, depression, and autism. Jamie is the Program Director of the developmental disabilities program that started in 2016. Jamie has worked directly with individuals with developmental disabilities since 2002 and has a passion for working with this population.

Janette Hiebert, LCSW

Director of Clinical Services/Clinician

Janette joined the CenterPointe team as a clinician in 2011.  She then became the Director of Clinical Services in 2016.  Janette graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University in 2004.  She then earned her Master of Social Work degree from Walla Walla University in 2005.  She has been practicing therapy since 2006 and earned her Clinical Licensure through the state of Idaho in 2008.  Janette has a passion for helping people and enjoys working with people of all ages.  She has experience addressing a variety of mental health, family, and social issues, including: anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, family conflicts, bullying, self-harming, and change of life events.

Gretchen Brill, LCPC

Community Based Rehabilitation Program Director/Clinician

Gretchen joined CenterPointe in 2009 as a clinician and then became the CBRS Program Director in April 2014. Gretchen received a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at Florida State University and a Master's Degree /Education Specialist Degree in Counselor Education from the University of Florida in 2003. She has been working with children and their families in various mental health settings since 2002, providing treatment for children, teens, and adults suffering from Anxiety, Depression, PTDS, ADHD, and a variety of other psychological, family, and social problems. Gretchen uses Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioral approaches in most situations to treat her clients but applies an eclectic assortment of skills as needed throughout the course of treatment.

Amanda VanSant, PA

Physician Assistant

Mandy has provided psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and medication management at CenterPointe since 2016. She earned her undergraduate and Physician Assistant degrees from Idaho State University. She worked for 4.5 year doing neurosurgery and orthopedic spine surgery prior to making a specialty change to Psychiatry in 2016. Mandy also has a history of serving in the Idaho Army National Guard from 2009-2012.

Ronnie Isaacson, PAC

Physician Assistant

Ronnie joined CenterPointe in 2019 and provides psychiatric diagnostic evaluations and medication management. He earned his undergraduate degree from BYU-Idaho and his Physician Assistant degree from Northern Arizona University. He has a background in behavioral health beginning as a Psychiatric Technician at a state hospital and has also worked with at-risk youth in a wilderness setting. He also has a history of working for Idaho Fish and Game as a Conservation Officer.

Founder's Story

CenterPointe, Inc., opened in 2003 when founder Christine Kildow, Ph.D., recognized a need for a professional clinic focused solely on children and their families, offering a full range of mental healthcare services under one roof. Dr. Kildow’s doctoral training in developmental and child psychology inspired her to establish CenterPointe, where children and families receive the highest level of professional care. As clinic director, Dr. Kildow remains actively involved in the day-to-day operations of CenterPointe.
