CenterPointe’s programs offer children opportunities to learn important “life” skills in a safe, caring and professional setting. Our clinic offers a wide variety of programs to meet the needs of each client and their family. Our highly skilled treatment team is dedicated to building strong, nurturing relationships with our clients through our commitment, experience and expertise.

Professional Care

CenterPointe’s clients receive the highest level of professional care. They are treated by compassionate professionals who specialize in treating children and adolescents with behavioral problems and mental health needs. CenterPointe’s professionals are specifically trained to work with children, having received didactic training in current research and treatment modalities relating to children, in addition to their extensive “real-life” experience treating children, adolescents and their families.

Our professional care is evidenced by:

An initial diagnostic evaluation which guides the child’s treatment is administered by a professional.
A board certified medical doctor monitors medications used to help stabilize mental health issues.
Master’s-level therapists meet with the child and their family weekly to discover the causes of their presenting issues and to help clients learn to manage their behaviors.
Bachelor’s-level professionals and para-professionals meet with the child and their family throughout the week to teach and reinforce skills outlined in the treatment plan.

Program Components

CenterPointe uses a variety of treatment modalities to discover the underlying causes of behavioral issues. The treatments, implemented within a therapeutic environment, offer each child the opportunity to develop insight and learn to manage their emotional and behavioral issues in a safe, supportive environment.
