Are you a mental health advocate champion who enjoys working with youth and families in preventative care? Join the amazing team at CenterPointe today who are building stronger families in our community, one family at a time!
As the Therapeutic Behavioral Coach on the team you will work with youth and their families within the community for 6 – 9 months. You will be responsible for providing behavioral-based interventions to support youth in identifying effective replacement coping strategies. The Therapeutic Behavioral Coach advocates for the youth’s mental health needs during treatment reviews and other service provider meetings.
Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) is a new service in Idaho! TBS is a specialized mental health program that supports clients with behaviors that place the youth at risk of hospitalization or a higher level of care. TBS is a short-term, intensive service that focuses on transferring skills to caregivers for long-term success. Services are provided in the community including, but not limited to schools and family homes. The program involves one-on-one therapeutic support to help clients and their caregivers develop effective behavior management skills. Behavioral Coaches teach adaptive behaviors, such as communication and self-soothing skills, and work closely with caregivers to sustain progress and ensure the client’s ongoing success.
CenterPointe is dedicated to providing outstanding mental health, community-based, and educational services. CenterPointe opened its doors in 2003 with the vision to provide continuity of care for families and their children by providing a wide variety of services so that the needs of each child could be met. We provide therapeutic behavioral services (TBS) to children and teens throughout Canyon County and Ada County.
