Behavioral Professionals

Job Objective: To promote independency and resiliency in children so they are successul in their educational setting and in their community. Must be able to show patience, flexibility, and be willing to be part of a team, and be willing to work hours that are a typical school schedule. Community hours are available when school is not in session.

Responsibilities:

Work 1:1 with an assigned child at school correcting and shaping their behaviors.
Work with family members, extended family members, school personnel, and other adults involved with the child.
Participate in community based activities to teach the child hands-on life skills, if assigned a community client.
Follow the child's IEP/service plan to reach the goals set for the child.
Document student's daily activities.
Complete regular professional training each year.

Must be willing to become CPR/First Aid certified (provided by company).
Must be willing to become Crisis Prevention Intervention Certified (provided by company).
Be able to lift fifty (50) pounds.
Be able to pass an extension background check by the Department of Health and Welfare.
Be able to pass an extension background check by the Idaho Department of Education.

Available Positions/ Educational Requirements:

Behavioral Intervention Specialist (BI/HI): Must be at least eighteen (18) years old, hold a Bachelor's Degree in human service field OR a Bachelor's Degree in a non-human service related field with 24 minimum upper division semester credits in human services field, verifiable proof of paid, supervised experience providing services to a child or adolescent with a developmental disability for a minimum of 1,040 hours, and complete 40 hour RBT training in ABA (cost shared by company), OR, hold a current certificate in Habilitative Intervention (HI).

Hours:

Full time positions available in the school. Part-time postions available in the community.

Pay Range:

$22.00 -$24.00 Depending on position and experience.

$500 Sign-on Bonus
